Shana Olson-Laake, RN BSN IBCLC, has developed and refined her monitrice skills over time. She has 15 years of experience in the nursing field and over 10 years experience in prenatal care, labor and delivery, and mother/baby postpartum care. She has assisted in over 20 home births and countless births in the hospital setting. Shana is a passionate breastfeeding advocate with over 10 years experience assisting new mothers with breastfeeding inside the hospital and at home. In addition, she has personally been breastfeeding for nearly 20 years of her life across her eight children. She lives in Queensbury, New York with her husband of 15 years and eight children.
